Let there be love`

14th Feb 2012
Love reigns

i did a heart shape with these rose petals too but it looked horrendously unpresentable..Bf took over. Okay, flaunting his skills in table flower arrangement? Hahaha!

i like their sugar cubes! Mess-free and it reminds me of chess!

Really nice table decorations they have.
Wild hibiscus and it's scent oil in the glass.
Prive did impressive in catching ladies heart with these pretty decorations and lovely scents!

Oh, their Love potion. *@_@*

Prawns, squid-ink spag and cuttlefish!

PRIVE's BEEF WAS AWESOME! SOFT and TENDER!
Like ermm...a beefed marshmallow? :D ohh.. It's really the best ever yet, that i've tried in my life, but bf said he ate a better and cheaper one at some hotel that he forgot which. :/ I think i read somewhere on Lady Iron Chef's blog that the ala-carte beef steak from Prive is $67? Overkill$. So much for a beef. Must have been some good cow. Moooooo.

Dessert 1: Raspberry sorbet xxx can't rmbr the dish's name.

Dessert 2: Molten Chocolate pudding and lemon jelly.
At this point in time, i'm sure i was god-damn full already, but still stuffing it into my gullet because it tasted soooooo good. A dessert indeed, there's always space in the stomach for good desserts!

I knew bf sucked at photography, and he proved it here. Blinding flash, I can't see my nose! :P

Souvenir: Dark and White Chocolates! I love the white one, dark one was too bitter for my liking.

Wore my mum's blazer. Really old blazer with those retro shoulder paddings. Hah! I look funny in it cos the blazer was too short! Just shows that i have a longer upper body than mum. Heehee!

Didn't manage to take all the pictures of the food and the food menu, cos i was too occupied in drooling over the food as soon as it was served. The food was appealing and served it's appeal. 4/5 stars. I'd minus a star due to it's bombastic price. Guys are that pitiful when it comes to festive season like such. Lucky to be a woman. :D Cheers to all ladies!

The surprise gift i received from Bf...

Didn't expect such a big bag, cos i already had a tote bag for school. Oh wells. Crazy bf, likes burning his pocket deeper and making me guilty. "[
On a brighter note, i was thrilled to realize that we have such telepathy! We bought each other's present and presented it to each other on the same day without any pre-agreement! It was four days before V-day! :)
I got him a field bag (called Alice pack) that he wanted, but didn't bear to buy, and a pair of 12kg dumbbells. I forgot to take pictures of it before presenting it to him. Here are the googled images:

The bag was an ideal choice for bf because it offers maximum support for his back and it feels comfortable even with heavy weight. I thought it would be  uncomfortable though, with those metal brackets at the back. Bf suffered hip fracture from over-strenuous exercise which he didn't admit, and it will be good to have this bag when he bring those new NS guys out for a week's field trip at Tekong.

But u see why i'm guilty now, in comparison of the gifts. But it was comforting to know that i got him something he want! And like what everyone would say, it's the thought that matters!
