Youth Olympic Volunteer

I have been a very lousy blogger.

BUT, this is my space, so who cares:D

What's going on in my life right now? Well....I'm a volunteer in the Youth Olympic Games (YOG)!

Awesome isn't it? How many people get to be involved in smth that means so so significant to Singapore? A once in a lifetime event!! Yea, i know some friends think i'm nuts, contributing effort in smth that i'm not paid for. Haha! As long as it's fulfilling to oneself, who cares whether u're paid? But of course, even if u like sweeping your house floor, doesn't mean u go around people's houses with a broom and work your magic! Anyhoos, the Visa debit card the YOG organisation had given us finally worked! It took quite sometime to be activated! I have been paying with my own bloody, sweatily hard earned money for my transportation! Suppose there's a glitch in LTA system? Bahh...

And ya..The Visa works like an EZ-link card too, that provides me unlimited bus rides and 4 train rides per day. Now, this is the ups of being a volunteer. A concession like such costs about $95? Oh wells. . .

i love the freshness, sweet yet not diabetic-ally sweet, quenching floral taste of Chrysanthemum Tea! Ultimately pure chrysanthemum flowers soaked in hot boiling water in my little Bodum coffee/tea presser.

A cup a day, keeps my parched throat away! :D

Transitions of thoughts with age

It's bemusing how one's thought and views changes as he or she matures.

I used to hate it when people smoke, and if they're my friends, I'll keep reminding them to smoke less and encourage them to quit.

But now, as much as i dislike people to smoke, I sort of understand how hard it is to quit, with the cold withdrawal symptoms and stuff...Not that i have been through it or sorts..haha! But i don't detest smokers as much as i did, younger!

Oh how i love her so! :)

wow..now blogger has improved much more with it's new template designer for all bloggers!

Oh goodness! "10 promises to my dog" made me cried till my eyes swell, almost choked on my tears... This particular scene whereby the main actress(from a girl to young woman) recalls the 10 promises to her dog, Socks, of which she mostly didn't fulfill when she grows older, was especially touching. It simply burst all my tear bags!
I used to want a golden retriever so bad (though i'm afraid of big dogs), but after watching the movie and feeling the immense sorrow when the dog leaves for netherworld, really made me re-think whether i should commit myself in keeping a dog, knowing that i would be so so sad upon losing it eventually... ...

I see the sexy body contours of ladies all the time,everywhere, on FB, on the streets....
and i want so so soooo much to be as lean and healthy looking as them.
I'll never feel confident of myself until i get rid of those flabs.
I want a quick and easy alternative, but slimming packages are so expensive!
So i figured, bahh....it's time to exercise, not just talk my way out if it!
But i know, i never ever persevere...I'm such a flipflapflop...

Had a quick catchup with Mya BFF (Bitch Fit-ing Forever..hahaha! Kdn!) today at Junction 8.
Awesommeee time i had with her, as usual. Indra was there too. Haha! Lovely couple them 2!
Forever bickering and teasing each other. I know i'm sucha lightbulb.. but I LIKE IT so who cares:D

*PLAN WHAT TO DO ON MOTHER's DAY!
*DECLUTTER THE MESS ON MY DESK. Erm..no i don't think it's very messy yet, so this can wait...
*ORGANISE CLASS OUTING. i don't really like organizing stuff when people are so reluctant to confirm their attendance fast, or i know that it's gonna be a flop...This time it WILL be a success, ELSE i'm not gonna do it! HEH!

okay, before one can accomplish great tasks, they'll need to have ample rest!
So that's what I'm gonna do right now! Hope I'm gonna dream of something sweet soon!

First of all, let me declare that what i have to offer, though not a healthy snack, it's really tasty!
Juliet biscuits with Smucker's Jam/Skippy Peanut butter. Mwwwaaa, it's my new love!
